The purpose of this website is to provide a working example of the WET-BOEW-GCWeb theme created by TNG Consulting Inc. together with the Government of Canada for Moodle software . Demo courses are only available in English however multi-language courses are supported.
Examples of courses
Want to see examples of courses created by others? Take a look at the All Courses page on this site and look for course names that have icons just to the right of them. These are by other students who have made their practice course viewable to others. Is your practice in the list? Some of the more notable ones include:

Moodle.net Archive
Next, go to archive.moodle.net. You will find over 90 courses that you can download and install on your own Moodle site, and almost 170 that you can try. BE SURE TO pay attention
to the list of activities used by the course before trying to restore a course on your own site. Some of them require 3rd party activities that you will need to install on your site from the Moodle plugin's site. A few of them also use 3rd party Course Formats. While available on the same plugins website, unfortunately the course descriptions don't mention when they require a non-standard course format in order to work.
Based on my own past experience at playing around with the downloadable courses on archive.moodle.net, I strongly advise you to always restore a course on a non-production site first to make sure it actually works and doesn't break your website. If you do run into one of those courses that require a special course format, you may not be able to uninstall it until you add the course format plugin to your website. It's happened to me on occasion.
If you are new to Moodle, I recommend the "Moodle Feature Demo" course. It isn't really a course but an example of most of the Moodle activity plugins. If you like that, you might also want to visit plugins.moodlebites.com where you can actually see what many 3rd party plugins look like before you install them on your own site.
Mount Orange School
Finally, check out the Mount Orange School Moodle demo site. It is a simulation of a real school with real student data. You can login as a student or a teacher and actually do activities
from their respective points of view. Credentials are listed on the login page. Note that the site is reset every hour. Here are a couple of examples of courses you will find there:
Keep in mind that some people just use Moodle as a repository for their printed materials instead of creating dynamic and interactive courses in a way that is interesting, intuitive and instructive (hint, hint) regardless of a person's learning style.

You can't download courses from these Moodle sites however you can check them out for free.
