Making a glossary read-only to students
Have you ever wondered if it was possible to make a glossary read-only to students?
Here's how:
- Add a glossary activity to your course.
- Click on the activity you just added to enter it.
- Click on the gear followed by Permissions.
- Scroll down to the "Create new entries", "mod/glossary:write" line and click on the "X" to remove permissions for Students. Do not remove permissions for other roles listed.
That's it. Once this change has been made, students will no longer be able to add terms to the glossary.
