Learn to Manage your Moodle website

This is not a Government of Canada website

The purpose of this website is to provide a working example of the WET-BOEW-GCWeb theme created by TNG Consulting Inc. together with the Government of Canada for Moodle software . Demo courses are only available in English however multi-language courses are supported.

How to put multiple course in one course / Creating Learning Paths

There are two ways you can accomplish this:

1) Without additional plugins : In your Learning Path course, simply create a URL activity for each course you want to include your course.

2) Using a 3rd party plugin: The process is almost identical to the one above except that you would need the SubCourse 3rd party plugin. Instead of creating URL activities, you would create SubCourse activities which point to the additional courses. The advantage of this method over the one above is that students will be able to see their progress right from within the Learning Path courses.

Regardless of which method you use, don't forget to use the Metalink enrollment method to have users enrolled in the additional courses when they enroll in the Learning Path course.

Alternatively, just use the Metalink course to enroll students in the other courses when they enroll in the Learning Plan. The additional enrolled courses will automatically appear in their Dashboard.
